Rosana Expósito is a Scottish/Spanish Fashion Designer based in the UK.

Rosana designs with the sensory comforts and joys of wearing clothes in mind. How clothes feel on your skin, how they move around your body, and how the fabric breaths is a vital part of the design and making process. Rosana’s work is an exploration of sustainable practises in garment making and a celebration of traditional technique. We believe in good design working hand in hand with durability. All of our garments and accessories are made in Scotland from natural fibres and surplus materials (waste from the British textile industry) including clothes, high quality Scottish Knitwear using traditional techniques and surplus yarns.

The brand launched in July 2019 and focuses on making clothes and accessories from ethically sourced natural fibres, and deadstock/vintage fabrics. Deadstock fabric is often fabric that has been leftover and unused by mills and bigger brands. Traditionally these unused/surplus fabrics and yarns would be sent to landfill but now a lot of this fabric is being re sold to small brands like us! Repurposing fabrics that would have otherwise gone to landfill feels right and there is so much beauty to be found in vintage and reclaimed fabrics.
